RSC October: Room Rates for Holiday Inn Express and Days Inn
A message from Craig R. (RSC Chair)
>>> Click here for the October 2015 RSC Agenda <<<
Negotiated 2016 room rates for Days Inn & Holiday Inn Express (includes October 2015 Session):
Holiday Inn Express – $119.99 per night – Fellowship Services Association rate, when calling use rate code ILCORNA. Please note this rate code; you will use it when booking at the HIE in Ellensburg from now on.
- The person we were having problems with getting the correct rate is no longer employed at HIE so moving forward we should be good
- I have locked this rate at the HIE through 2016!
Days Inn – Fellowship Services Association rate
- October 2015 = $75
- January 2016 = $75
- April 2016 = $93
- July 2016 = $93
- October 2016 = $75
Days Inn – Fellowship Services Association conference room rent
2016 = $250 plus tax is $275 – this is an increase of $50 (still very affordable) we have to have as many rooms booked here as possible to get this rate. Days Inn wants 12 rooms…

NA World Services Announcements
Membership Survey: Just a reminder to fill out the membership survey online at http://www.na.org/?ID=2015-survey if you haven’t already done so. The data from the survey helps us to demonstrate that we are a viable and respected recovery community resource and to offer hope to others that they, too, can recover. The deadline for the survey is 4 October 2015.
Traditions Project: The last chapters of the Traditions Book project have been released for review and input. The deadline for input on Traditions 7–10 is 31 August. The deadline for input on Traditions 11 & 12 is 30 September. You can access them here: www.na.org/traditions. You don’t have to wait until you have input on all of the material to send us your thoughts. In fact, the sooner we receive your input, the more time we have to incorporate your ideas into the revisions.
World Service Position Nominations: In order to be considered for nomination to the World Board or HRP or as a WSC Cofacilitator at WSC 2016, please submit a World Pool Information Form or update your form if you have submitted in the past by 31 August 2015.
The deadline for regions, the World Board, and zones to submit candidates to the HRP for consideration for nomination to the World Board, HRP, or as WSC Cofacilitator at WSC 2016 (RBZ candidates) is 31 October 2015.
For more information on serving at the world level: http://www.na.org/?ID=HRP-info
Service System Web Meetings: We hope to schedule two web meetings related to the service system project ideas in August: an introductory web meeting that will consist of a presentation followed by Q&A, and a web meeting for those who are implementing ideas or thinking of implementing ideas related to the project. This second web meeting will function primarily as a chance for members of those communities to talk to each other about what is working and what they would like input on. If the meeting for implementers seems helpful, we could schedule them regularly.
We also would like to schedule a web meeting for folks serving in rural communities soon. If you are interested in participating in any of these web meetings, please email servicesystem@na.org and let us know which interest you.
Conference Agenda Report: The English-language Conference Agenda Report will be published by 25 November 2015, and the translated versions of the CAR will be published by 24 December 2015.

RSC “summer session” agenda and other info for review
From Craig R. (RSC Chair):
All:
It is shaping up to be a very busy RSC this quarter! Please take a look at the agenda to see if there is anything that I missed from last RSC. Attached is an updated acronym sheet for your reference, this will not be handed out at RSC so print a copy to bring with you.
The RSC Auditor’s schedule is as follows:
- C&E Committee audit – Friday at 4PM at Holiday Inn Express
- WNIRCNA Kelso final audit – Friday at 5:30PM at Holiday Inn Express
- Clean & Free – Saturday 8AM at Holiday Inn Express
- WNIRCNA Pasco– immediately following RSC (or after C&E if done early)
- PNW – immediately following RSC (or after C&E if done early)
RCM’s are encouraged to help with audits so if you can schedule some extra time that would be great. On a personal note; Leia and I can’t stay after RSC this session so we will not be able to help with WNIRCNA Pasco & PNW.
